Eventhough it’s not a huge city, Geneva is very important part of Switzerland, and world in general, because of all the important historical moments that happened in this city, and also because it’s still to this day capital for many organisations and manifestations.

The European capital of United nations is located in Geneva. If you ever heard about the saying “To go like a Swiss watch”, you can as well connect that to Geneva, because it’s well known for it’s traditional industry of watches.

If you are taking a plane to Geneva, you will land on the Kointrin airport which is located on the west part of the city. Doesn’t matter if you are here for bussines or pleasure, you should take some time to explore the streets and enjoy the Swiss spirit in this city. Begin your journey enjoying the Geneva Lake, and after get completely lost in Geneva’s charm.

There are a lot of people who were born and raised, or at least spent some time in Geneva. Some of them are Jean-Jacques Rousseau and Bob Woodward, one of the two journalists who is well known for the “Watergate” affair.
